Puffi Cone
Only if you grew up in Manila in the eighties would you know about the childhood treat called the Puffi Cone. It was an ice cream cone filled with gooey flavorful marshmallow and topped with melted chocolate. It would be wrapped in foil, arranged in a box, and distributed by a company called Goya Philippines (remember that TV commercial which depicted the Goya factory as some wonderful playland where chocolate syrup flowed like a waterfall? That was every child's dream! Reminds me of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory....err the book, not the movie).
Anyway, these priced Puffi Cones would be very special treats for us siblings. Oftentimes they would be melted, crushed and falling apart...but just like all the other things that we would die for....we loved it just the same.
Does anybody remember the Puffi Cone?
